Message from the Chair
The concept behind the creation of the ELT Excellence Awards was conceived and brought to fruition with the aim of acknowledging and celebrating outstanding achievements in the field of English Language Teaching and Learning in Greece and Cyprus.
This initiative was driven by a deep appreciation for English language teachers who exhibit a genuine passion for their profession. These are educators who wholeheartedly care for their students and aspire to leave a lasting impact on their lives. They are resourceful, constantly exploring innovative methods and approaches to enhance the learning experience. Their goal is to make language acquisition both meaningful and memorable for their students.
We envisioned educators who can transform their classrooms into engaging and unforgettable “events” that students eagerly participate in. They are the ones who continuously generate fresh ideas and novel ways of conducting lessons, turning challenges into opportunities for innovation.
Our aspiration is to receive participation and support from a broad spectrum of educational institutions, whether public or private. Together, we can collectively work towards the shared dream of nurturing the new generation in our region, enabling them to thrive and succeed.
