Nomination Description

At CHRONOS Language School, the combination of cutting-edge internal tools that support students, parents, and teachers and a dynamic external presence through our website and social media enhances learning and communication, while showcasing our educational vision to the wider community.

I. Digital Resources for Learning and Teaching

Our website Portal page (Link) provides uninterrupted access to all our digital learning platforms, ensuring students, teachers, and parents can effortlessly connect, collaborate, and engage with our online resources (attached photo).

As shown in Graph 1, our employment of digital tools is aimed at students of all CEFR levels, ensuring that each student can access the most effective platforms for their learning stage (attached chart).

Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot, the backbone of our digital ecosystem, enables resource sharing and real-time interaction among students, teachers, and administration:

• Teams: Dedicated channels for students, teachers, and staff to communicate, collaborate, share materials, discuss assignments and host live lessons.
• SharePoint: A central resource hub, ensuring easy access to materials for teachers and learners (attached photo).
• OneDrive: Secure cloud storage for real-time sharing and collaboration on assignments.
• Forms: Simplifies assessments and surveys, gathering valuable feedback from students and parents to help us continually improve.
• Stream: A platform for student-produced podcasts, promoting creativity and language skills.

Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Platforms such as Cambridge One and Express Publishing DigiBook are embedded in our teaching methodology, ensuring student access to high-quality course materials. Leveraging real-time progress tracking and instant feedback, we keep students motivated and on track.

Artificial Intelligence Innovations
At CHRONOS, we pioneer harnessing AI to transform learning. Trained in top-tier tools like Mizou, Claude, ChatGPT, and Lumen5, our teachers design personalized lessons and creative AI-driven tasks. By embracing innovation, we empower students to develop critical digital skills in a technology-driven world.

Student Information System (SIS) and Parent Engagement
With our SIS from Classter, we seamlessly track student progress, communicate with parents, and automate key school processes. Through the Classter app, students access grades, assignments, or announcements and parents can easily access real-time updates on their child’s academic milestones, attendance, and school events, ensuring everyone stays in the know (attached photo).

The site offers easy navigation to important announcements, school news, course details, or articles. Scheduling automated booking systems for teacher-parent consultations (Link) and parent-administration meetings (Link) is a key feature of our website (attached photo).

Social Media Engagement
Our Facebook Page and Instagram Page demonstrate our thriving online presence. Through these platforms we celebrate the achievements of our students and staff, share success stories, event updates and school news. Our wider community is given a space to interact, ask questions, and offer feedback, creating a sense of pride and ownership within our community (attached photo).
